Noize is a Montreal-based brand that makes vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainable outerwear.
They repurpose recycled plastic bottles for their insulation fill inside their jackets, clothing, and accessories!
Whether you’re looking for vests, puffer jackets, or winter parkas, they’ve got plenty of outerwear options available.
Plus, their jackets and coats are quite affordable, which is nice!
I adore this short puffer that comes in a bunch of cute colours, and it’s temperature rated up to -15 degrees.
If you’re looking for a warmer coat, this long puffer is super chic and temperature rated up to -30 degrees!
They also have vegan wool coats, and this long double-breasted coat is super cute.
Norden
If you’re looking for sustainable outerwear brands in Canada, you’ll definitely want to check out Norden.
This Montreal-based outerwear brand uses repurposed waste and recycled materials to produce their jackets, and they’re also committed to sustainable practices.
From their Mia Cire Puffer to their Tova Oxford Parka, they’ve got plenty of timeless and functional outerwear!
A lot of their winter jackets are temperature rated for -20 to -25 degrees Celsius, so they’re quite warm.

I adore the Eka Puffer, the Queen Parka, and the Palais Parka.
Really sweet story behind the brand: the founder wasn’t able to find the perfect Canadian winter coat for his Brazilian-born wife, so he launched his own brand!
They’re also a Certified B Corp, which is really awesome!
Aritzia
Aritzia’s Super Puff is one of the best winter jackets you can get at a decently affordable price.
They’ve got a wide range of styles in their Super Puff line, all of which are temperature rated from 0 degrees to -40 degrees!
Their Super Puffs come in a variety of different styles (including corduroy, shiny, or vegan leather) and different lengths (shorty, regular, mid, or long).
My personal fave is the shorty, and I’d definitely size up if you like to wear layers underneath your winter wear.
The SuperSnug Puff Long is also super cute if you’re looking for a longer jacket!
Their Super Puff jackets range from $200 to $400, which is quite fair for such a warm and well-made winter jacket!
They’re also machine washable, which is super nice.
Super Puffs are actually very warm, which is surprising for the price, but I’d definitely layer up on especially cold days.
Soia & Kyo
Soia & Kyo is a super chic Montreal-based outerwear brand, and their pieces are a little more feminine.
They also have some sustainable pieces made with recycled materials, including both clothing and outerwear!
This sustainable down puffer jacket is gorgeous, has a 700+ fill power, and is temperature rated for -35 degree weather.
I also love this sustainable down puffer vest, and it comes in a few different colours!
Mackage
Mackage is also based out of Montreal, and they’re actually owned by the same group that owns Soia & Kyo!
They make amazing leather jackets and winter parkas, and I absolutely adore their edgy style.
Though their pieces are a bit pricy, the quality is impeccable and their jackets will literally last you forever.
I’ve had my Mackage leather jacket for over a decade now, and it’s still in fantastic condition!
While they are known for their outerwear, they also have some ready-to-wear clothing pieces you can shop as well.
I adore this down puffer coat, which is made with recycled down and features 800 fill power.
This down vest and this wool coat are also both super cute!
Rudsak
Rudsak is another awesome outerwear brand based out of Montreal, and their pieces are similar to Mackage with the whole edgy look.
From leather jackets, to down jackets, to wool coats, they have so many gorgeous outerwear pieces.
This leather down puffer is super chic, and I also love this maxi down puffer.
They also have some ready-to-wear pieces like tops, bottoms, and dresses!
Arc’teryx
Arc’teryx is a Vancouver-based sportswear brand known for their performance-based outerwear.
Vancouver is located near some of the most beautiful nature and hiking trails in the entire country, so they definitely know what they’re doing!
They make their products at factories here in Canada and around the world, and they’re working towards being Fair Trade Certified.
I adore the Patera parka, which features 750 fill down and is both waterproof and windproof.
The Theriss down jacket is perfect for skiing or snowboarding, and the Conduit down jacket is super cute and features 850 fill down!
Kanuk
If you’re looking for an outerwear brand that actually makes their pieces in Canada, you’ll definitely want to check out Kanuk.
Kanuk is a Canadian outerwear brand that’s been designing and handcrafting winter coats in their Montreal workshop for over 50 years!

I’ve owned a few Canada Goose jackets in my lifetime, and their quality is one of the greatest for Canadian winters.
While Canada Goose jackets are quite expensive, they will last you forever, especially with the lifetime warranty!
I’ve been wearing my Victoria parka every winter for the last 7 years, and it’s still in amazing condition.
Their jackets are also made in Canada, which is really awesome!

Nobis
Nobis is another luxury Canadian outerwear brand, and it was actually founded by the former Vice President of Canada Goose!
