Can you get rid of the malice at Akkala Tower? ›

Find And Shoot The Malice

Players will want to take out the mobs surrounding the area for a better shot. Shoot the eye with an arrow to disperse the malice, and a metal beam will drop, allowing Link to cross into the tower through the window the eye was previously in and climb up the tower onto a red-carpeted area.

In order to wash away the sludge, players will need to get their hands on a Splash Fruit or two. Thankfully, these grow right throughout the Lanayru region and can usually be found within walking distance of patches of the purple and brown slime.

Link must shoot one of the large eyes to send Naydra flying into the air around Mount Lanayru. A second shot will cause Malice Naydra to fly down the mountain, where Link can pursue her and attack the remaining eyes to destroy the Malice.

Well, you've got to bring it to Gerudo Town and trigger the cutscene where Link gets kicked out. @zelda_watchan also says that the Lynel needs to be in view when this happens, so you can't just turn up to Gerudo Town and expect the Lynel to drop its weapons because it's nearby — it's got to be visible in the cutscene.

Use your bow for up-close headshots, which will stun the Lynel. If you can shoot it in the head with an Ice Arrow, you'll freeze it long enough to climb on top of it and deliver a few more blows to the head. Beating a Lynel in BOTW takes a lot of patience, so be prepared for a lengthy battle.

There are Malice Eyeballs found through the Nero Hill that lead up to the Tabantha Tower. In order to reach the top of the tower, Link will need to climb the pillar located just to the west. From there, he can shoot the Malice Eyeball near the pillar to the north, causing it to fall up against the tower.

A nearby doorway offers a detour into the Castle's interior, near the Guards' Chamber. From there, Link can return to the Hyrule Castle Courtyard just beyond the strip of Malice. Link can remove this Malice by striking the Glowing Eyeball on its far side, clearing the roadway.

Atop a broken balcony on the northern side of the Ruins, Link can find several Arrows as well as a metal door covering a Rock under which a Korok can be found. On the wall above this point, a second Korok can be found hiding under a Rock beneath a pile of dead leaves.

Explore the Akkala Citadel Ruins (watch out for the Gloom Hands) and go through the small crack in the wall at coordinates 3290, 1490, 0414. Open the treasure chest to collect the Fierce Deity Armor.
