Combination Creations/Cube Combination (2024)

Cube Combination is a fighting game created on June 6, 2022, by the group Combination Creations, it is a fangame of a game called Cube Fusion. The objective of the game is - as the name suggests - to combine cubes and use their products to progress through the game by defeating bosses and protecting the crystal in the middle. Gameplay[]

At the player spawn, cubes constantly rain from the sky at a default spawn rate of 4 seconds. The cube types dropped include the Blue, Dirt, Green, Ice, Red, Rock, and Wood cubes. These cubes can be picked up simply by tapping on them and can be swapped around your hands (F on PC). On the start of every game, there also exists a single-use crate giving out equipment once opened by holding "E". (On the oldest versions, you had to destroy the create, which had 200 HP)

Dropping the item you hold (Q on PC) onto other items allows for new ones to be made (e.g., combining the Red Cube and the Wood Cube makes a Club, a simple weapon that deals 15 Blunt damage). Some items, like the Dirt Cube, can also be dropped into the furnace, refining them in the process. Items that do not have a specific furnace interaction will just turn into an Ash Cube.

Dropping an item into the Researcher lists every item that it can combine with.

Platforms[]

On older versions, bridges could be expanded by dropping cubes into them, higher tier cubes expanded the bridge more. Now, you need to combine cubes into platforms. The south and west bridges lead to raider towers, while the north and east bridges lead to the bosses.

Enemies[]

Raiders[]

The primary enemy type, they can spawn in groups of 3-14 from every island discovered (excluding the spawn). There are currently 3 types for each type of raider, which are Militia, Normal and Heavy. There are currently only 2 types of raiders, Spearmen and Swordsmen raiders, though in the future, there will be more than 2 types of raiders.

Tanks[]

They used to spawn in towers, but were removed. They were much harder to deal with, as they had 3250 HP and spawned bullets that dealt 250 Explosive damage, and also dealt 25 Blunt damage if hit directly by the bullet.

Bosses[]

There are currently 6 bosses in Cube Combination. The bosses on the north bridge (green bridge on older versions) tend to be less destructive to the Crystal than their east (yellow bridge on older versions) counterparts, but are more specialized in defeating players. Likewise, the eastern bosses are more destructive to the Crystal, but less destructive to good players (although they're still dangerous to fight). All 6 of these bosses cannot be thrown off the edge, and will teleport back onto the bridges. The bosses also drop loot once defeated, which can be in the form of weapons, cubes, and etc.

The northern bridge leads to three bosses: Cube Destroyer, Pyro, and Poseidon. The eastern bridge leads to another three bosses: Raider Brute, Hammerdom, and Cryo.
