Freezing Mincemeat, Apple and Nut Strudel (1)

Asked on 30 Nov 2018 by ojjyshields

Hello,
I'm planning on making Delia's Apple, Mincemeat and Nut Strudel ahead of time in preparation for Christmas and I was wondering if this should be frozen raw or cooked? Also, what's the best way to reheat this to serve?
Thanks for your help!

Hello,

Prepare and cook the strudel as per the recipe. Cool completely at room temperature then wrap in freezer film or foil. Freeze for up to 3 months. Defrost overnight in the fridge. If serving hot, reheat in the foil at 190°C for 30 minutes until piping hot.

Kind regards

Lindsey
