Agriculture has been associated with the production ofessential food crops. If a country’s agriculture suffers for somereason, prices can go up and it disrupts the flow of trade.The agricultural industry is still one of the biggest sourcesof employment and in many areas, it’s actually booming.Whether it’s working as a farmer, harvester, technician forfarm equipment, scientist, and so on, there are plenty ofjobs available in this field. In developing countries,agricultural jobs help reduce high rates of unemployment.

When it comes to reducing poverty, evidence shows thatfocusing on agriculture is significantly more effective thaninvesting in other areas. Agriculture is such an importantpart of a country’s infrastructure, it makes sense it wouldimpact conflicts and war. Throughout history, the need forland to grow food fueled many conflicts. In more moderntimes, specifically WWI, America’s farming industryboomed because they needed to supply Europe withagricultural products. For countries that don’t haveassistance, war can break down the agricultural sector,affecting people for decades to come. They aredistributed by agriculture as grams and other leguminousgoods. Such commodities include beans, pulses such asblack gram, Bengal gram, green gram, etc. Other proteinsources such as beef, fish, and dairy are also dependenton farming. Protein from vegetarian sources is cheap andhealthy without the risk of disease. People, therefore, relyon protein from agriculture for their daily needs. It isessential to supply energy, body structure, and heat withfats and oils. These can be obtained by growingsunflower, groundnut, mustard, sesame, etc. fromagriculture. Fruits: fruits have organic and intact foodcontent because they don’t need to cook. Children, theelderly and sick people make them digestible. Grapefruitsare also used to make wine.

When discussing agriculture,it’s impossible to not at least mention its connection toconflict. When it comes to pollution and climate change,the environment and agriculture suffer the quickest andwith the clearest consequences. If effective changesaren’t made, climate change’s impact on agriculture willdecimate a country’s economy and eventually wipe outthe food supply.
