What does “a bunch” mean in English?

Hi, I’m Joel. The slang in today’s lesson is, “a bunch.”
“A bunch” is basically just a synonym for a lot, much or many.
For example, I can say, “How many phones do you have?” “A bunch. Like 5 or 6.”
So, when we are not mentioning the actual thing after “a bunch,” there is no need for the preposition “of.”
However, if we are going to mention that thing, such as phones, then we need to use the word, “of” in between.
Here’s an example:
“I have a bunch of phones.”
“We have a bunch of time left. There’s no need to hurry.”
“He made a bunch of money making that movie.”
“I bet a bunch of people will arrive to the meeting.”
