Can you return New Balance shoes after wearing them? ›

If you aren't completely happy with your purchase, we accept returns of merchandise in new condition within 45 days of purchase. Returns must be in new condition, in the state you received them. New Balance reserves the right to refuse worn or damaged merchandise.

We are proud to be the only major company to make or assemble more than 4 million pairs of athletic footwear per year in the USA, which represents a limited portion of our US sales. Where the domestic value is at least 70%, we label our shoes Made in the USA.

Non-returnable items include custom shoes, underwear, face masks and select items called out as non-returnable on product pages. - Items purchased at a New Balance store should be returned to the store for a refund/exchange.

New Balance sizing notes

New Balance shoes are made to fit directly out of the box, meaning that – unlike so many sneaker brands – they do not need to be broken in. Choose the larger size if your feet are between sizes. You can adjust for a better fit with socks, insoles and lacing patterns.

Many chain shoe stores and online vendors have return policies that specify the shoes must be unworn and in the original packaging. That means that you should only wear them indoors on clean surfaces for a few days before deciding to return them. If they appear to be worn, you may not get a refund or exchange.

To ensure the durability of select New Balance tennis shoes, we offer a ​​6-month NDurance rubber outsole limited warranty guarantee. This warranty is specific to select models and does not extend to our entire product range.

If you're not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your items for free within 30 days of the delivery date of your order. We aim to process refunds as soon as possible, however, please allow at least 10 working days after we have received the parcel in our warehouse for your refund to be processed.

We want you to be completely delighted with your purchase. If you are not 100% satisfied for any reason upon receiving your order, you may return the item(s) for a full item refund or exchange.

New Balance follows its own unique sizing practices, aiming to provide a comfortable fit for a wide range of foot shapes and sizes. While individual experiences may vary, it is generally observed that New Balance shoes tend to run true to size or slightly larger compared to other brands.

How tight should New Balance be? ›

New Balance shoes are made to fit directly out of the box and do not need to be broken in. Your heel should fit snug with no slipping. The midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight. You should have enough room in the toe box to wiggle your toes.

New Balance sizing vs Nike and other brands

New Balance's sizing scheme is identical to that of ASICS and Brooks, as well as Saucony's men's sizing. There is a half-size difference with Skechers and a half-size to a full-size difference with Nike and Adidas.
