I've made and frozen my sis a Nut Roast for Sunday.
Is it best to defrost it and then heat through in a medium oven, or can I put it straight into the oven frozen, but not sure how long for? It is fully cooked.
Thanks

Personally I'd defrost it overnight just by leaving it out on the side. Then cook. Beauty of nut roast is that it's much harder to poison anyone, so really it's just about it being piping hot.

thanks birds! It's a lovely recipe from W&H magazine, especially to make ahead and freeze but then they miss the bit at the bottom about the reheating. Any dryness will disappear with the veggy gravy I've attempted to make .....

There's nothing to the detriment of a nut roast to reheat it whatsoever. And I agree that it's a nice thing to have cooked, as it means the veggies can join in with the rest of the meal.
