Handling Instructions

All of our cheesecakes are shipped frozen in specially designed packaging to safely transport our products. Cakes will ship with gel-paks or dry ice depending on the style of cake chosen. As long as the cake is cool to the touch, it is perfect for eating even if there is no dry ice remaining in the package. For cakes shipped with dry ice, be sure not handle the remaining dry ice with bare hands. Do not place the ice directly in your sink. It's best to let it dissipate in the cooler away from children and pets.

These cakes will be shipped in a Junior's signature orange and white striped box. Our cheesecakes should be removed from their packaging upon arrival. For cakes shipped with gel-paks, dispose of the Styrofoam and place the cake in the Junior's signature striped box. At this point, you may consume, refrigerate, or refreeze. Our cakes will last up to seven days in the refrigerator or up to six months in the freezer. Whichever you choose, your Junior's cake will taste as fresh as if you were enjoying it in one of our restaurants. Cakes can be refrozen.

Serving Suggestions

Cheesecakes should be served at room temperature. If frozen, leave the cake overnight in the refrigerator and defrost on the counter 3 hours before serving. Otherwise, defrost on the counter 4-5 hours before serving. Yes, it really takes that long. A few of our fruit items and "cakes within a cake" items are best slightly cool. These include cheesecakes such as the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Lemon Coconut Cheesecake.

Use a knife that has been dipped in hot water to cut the cheesecake.A chef's knife or cake knife works best. Wipe the knife with a damp towel in between each slice to ensure a smooth cut. Watch for fast hands trying to grab the cut slices! Enjoy!
