IEC publishes international standards and other publications which are available to affiliates for free or at discounted rates
Instructions for finding IEC International Standards and other types of technical publications for specific electrical, electronic, and information technology areas
Step 1
Select the Webstore menu from IEC main page www.iec.ch
Step 3
Once you have identified the IEC International Standards that you wish to receive free of charge, send an email to the IEC Affiliate secretariat with your list of requested publications. Please make sure to include the IEC reference (e.g. IEC 60038 (2002-07) Ed. 6.2) for each publication.
Step 4
You will receive the requested publication within two to three business days. provided those are available free of charge from your national quota. IEC International Standards and amendments are considered as one single item, whereas each part is considered a separate item.
Step 2
Use the advanced search engine to identify the IEC International Standard on the Webstore. Various search criteria can be used to enhance results: keywords, technical committees or subcommittees, publications, date range, or work areas

Criteria for attribution:
The requested edition is adopted at the national level by the affiliate country.
Additional information regarding new editions:
The edition corresponds to the edition adopted at the national level.

Beneficiaries:
Main contact or NEC of the affiliated country
Criteria for attribution:
Any acquisition of an IEC publication beyond the quota limits.
Additional information regarding new editions:
New editions. amendments and replacing publications can also be purchased at a 50% discount.

Beneficiaries:
NEC clients of the IEC affiliate country contact.
Criteria for attribution:
Discount rates apply to any publication that has NOT been the subject of a national adoption.
Additional information regarding new editions:
It includes any new edition of a previously adopted standard at the national level even if the new edition has not been adopted.
