Expert Response
Thanks for the question. This product has a "Use by date" and then a "once opened use within 7 days" label. A "use by date" is the last date recommended for the use of the product while at peak quality. The product should still be safe if it has been handled properly after this date unless there is noticeable spoilage (off odor, flavor, texture). Same is true for the "once opened use within 7 days" concept. The most likely problem for this type of product after 7 days would be mold growth. As always, highly recommend that you make sure to cook them thoroughly before eating.
