We've spotted both Garten and Stewart wearing the timeless style on more than one occasion. They're such a staple in Garten's wardrobe that the folks at Food Network got her to reveal that Talbots is one of her go-to stores for buying her signature denim shirts.

Garten opened up about her friendship with Stewart in a 2017 interview on the How to Be Amazing With Michael Ian Black podcast. She credited Stewart with taking home arts, "something that wasn't valued," and raising it "to a level that people were proud to do it."

Back in 1978, Garten bought a 400-square foot specialty food store in the Hamptons already named the Barefoot Contessa by its previous owners. She ran the store for nearly 20 years before selling it in 1996. The doors to the original Barefoot Contessa closed in 2003, but Garten has clearly carried on its legacy.

The Barefoot Contessa recommends the Pernigotti Cocoa Powder on her website. This ingredient has changed names — it's now known as the ChefShop Cocoa Powder — and it comes in a 1 kilo (or 2.2-pound) bag on Amazon.
