Is Tesco open bank holiday Monday 2024? ›

On the bank holiday Monday, the majority of Tesco larger stores will be open from 8am to 6pm in England and Wales, or from 8am and 8pm in Scotland.

Aldi will open as normal on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the only day where opening hours will change is on the bank holiday Monday itself. Normal hours in England and Wales sees stores open from 8am until 10pm - although some Aldi sites do open a tad earlier at 7am.

On the bank holiday Monday, a lot of Asda stores will be opening an hour earlier or an hour later. The majority of larger Asda stores will be opening later between 7am and 8am and closing between 10pm and 11pm. However, this is not widespread as some Asda stores will be opening as early as 6am.

On the bank holiday itself, larger Morrisons stores will be open between 7am and 8am and close at 8pm. Although some stores may open later until 10pm. Morrisons petrol stations will also open half an hour earlier and close half an hour later on the bank holiday Monday.
